Welcome to Bed & Breakfast De Joppeheuvel in Gorssel
The corona crisis forces everyone to stay at home as much as possible. All events have been canceled, restaurants are closed and the More in Gorssel museum is also closed. All this means that we do not think it wise to keep our B&B open during this period. We are therefore closed until 1 June or until the government allows these radical measures to take effect.
We hope that guests will find us again after this period.
For now, good health and stay at home!

Welcome to Bed & Breakfast De Joppeheuvel (The Joppehill). The Joppeheuvel Bed & Breakfast is located on the eastern edge of the pretty village Gorssel in Gelderland and opened in the spring of 2014 its doors. On the west side of the meandering river IJssel and on the east side begins a vast forest. The area invites to bike or walk, but there is also plenty of culture to be found in the nearby Hanseatic cities of Deventer and Zutphen. In 2015 the museum for realistic art: MORE opened in Gorssel with the Scheringa Collection. The B & B accommodates various art works.
The host and hostess, Henri and Linda, do everything to offer you a wonderful stay in one of the rooms of their B&B, and additional, meeting with other guests in the breakfast-room of their B & B wing. Each room has a private bathroom and has their own tea and coffee making facilities. In addition, there is also the breakfast room with kitchenette for guests’ disposal. There, and on one of the terraces in the beautiful garden, guests can get into conversation with other guests and the owners. Of course there is also opportunity to stay comfortably in your own room.
